Austin is a New York-based American film photographer with an emphasis on urban, landscape, and portrait photography. Spanning six years, he has captured vast, natural, and human compositions that evoke the viewer's perspective and moments of recognition. Through 35mm monochrome or color negative film, Austin's photography tells a complex narrative that blends physical spaces with fleeting human emotions. 

The capacity of photography comes from both the shooter and the viewer, and the multiple interpretations that come from the same subject. I use my film camera to describe everything that is within its frame, and yet I am still speculative about the meaning of any image. It is in this degree of ambiguity that inspiration manifests, carries me along, and ultimately makes my photography gain its potential and individuality.
